Rum (ラム, Ramu?), alias Kanenori Wakita (脇田 兼則, Wakita Kanenori)

Rum (ラム, Ramu?), alias Kanenori Wakita (脇田 兼則, Wakita Kanenori), is the second-in-command of the Black Organization.

Rum is the second-in-command of the Black Organization and the close aide of Renya Karasuma. He inherited that codename from his father, who had served Karasuma for many years. He was involved in the United States' murder case seventeen years ago. He was disguised as an old man during the final loyalty test in a warehouse two years ago, but Camel emerged from his hiding place to scare him away, thinking he was just an ordinary civilian, revealing that Dai Moroboshi was an FBI spy. Currently disguised as Kanenori Wakita, he is a drifter arranged as sushi chef at Beika Iroha Sushi, the local restaurant which is just next door to Mouri detective agency, since the regular waiter was in an accident. He becomes Kogoro's second apprentice in order to get closer to him and extract information. Surrounding the area, he always has several bodyguards on standby.
